A concept five years in the making, Holosphere 2.0 represents a generational leap forward in the live electronic music experience.

In part one of this three-part series, Eric Prydz and the team behind Holosphere 2.0 detail how they brought the 8-tonne, 8-meter-tall Sphere to life. Utilising 1,000s of custom-made pieces, a feature film’s worth of brand-new original animation, 3D holographic effects, and never-before-seen multidimensional layers of custom transparent LEDs.
