Celebrate 25 years of A State of Trance with a legend of electronic music.
The award-winning, internationally loved Dutch DJ has announced his debut official residency at the world’s first hyperclub. Building on his legacy on the island and his acclaimed residencies at Ushuaïa Ibiza, Armin van Buuren will take over [UNVRS] every Monday from 7 September to 5 October. The trance maestro will play 5-hour extended sets at each event, guiding the audience deep into his unique vision and sonic world.
A State of Trance started in 2001 as a radio show and has evolved into one of the most influential platforms in global electronic music. Over time, ASOT has transcended its radio origins to establish itself as an international brand with events across five continents, bringing together millions of fans under one shared musical identity. Armin’s ambition behind A State of Trance is one of massive scale and scope, which matches our ambitions at [UNVRS], making these five events a perfect pairing.
Armin has been a pioneer of melodic and progressive trance since the late 1990s, and has been named the World’s No. 1 DJ five times in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll. In 2025 he was crowned the World’s No. 1 Trance DJ during the ceremony held at [UNVRS].
