KÖLSCH

Kölsch is one of techno's most singular voices. His creative range doubtless comes from his rare upbringing, half Irish and half German, growing up in Copenhagen's Christiania commune. He's released on Kompakt, including his album trilogy 1977, 1983 and 1989, takes his long-form IPSO sets to Cologne's Gewölbe, and has worked with the likes of Michael Mayer, Tiga and Sasha. His blissed-out "Grey" remains a fan favourite.

Kölsch played elrow at [UNVRS] twice in 2026, on 20 June and on 26 September, when he went back to back with Joris Voorn.
