GREEN VELVET

In 1992, Chicago's Curtis Jones, then recording as Cajmere, made his mark on dance music with "Coffee Pot (It's Time for the Percolator)". As Green Velvet he has since crossed house, techno, funk and pop while staying rooted in the Chicago house sound, with tracks such as "Flash", a No. 1 US dance hit, "La La Land" and "Preacher Man". He runs two influential labels, Cajual and Relief.

Green Velvet played [UNVRS] on 19 August 2026, going back to back with Patrick Topping at Jamie Jones presents Paradise.
